Who We Are

Tranco Farms Gardens is a division of Tranco Farms, Inc., an agricutural services company based out of Loudoun County, Virginia. Chris Tranchitella started Tranco Farms, Inc. more than 20 years ago with a tractor and a passion for agriculture. Over the years, he has focused on growing conventional row crops.

Chris' daughter Erin joined the company in 2015. Sharing a love with her father for working outside and sustainable farming, Erin planted our first one-acre organic vegetable garden. That same year, Tranco Farms Gardens began producing beautiful plants and delicious vegetables and became Certified Organic by the USDA.

Tranco Farms Gardens is situated in the picuresque rolling hills of Clarke County, Virginia. The 120-acre site is home to a 3-acre vegetable garden, landscaping trees, wheat and corn. The family-owned farming business has growing operations in Clarke and Loudoun County, VA.

At Tranco Farms Gardens, we are committed to sustainable agriculture and, more specifically, the health of our land. We are proud to share our healthy, life-giving foods with our local community.

Why Buy Organic?

When plants have a healthy, organic environment to grow in, they are more resistant to disease and produce higher yields. We use a variety of techniques to deal with pesky weeds and pests without the use of chemicals. By focusing on using organic methods, we build nutrient rich soil which produces healthy and delicious vegetables. We think you'll be able to taste the difference!
